How it works
GAG makes up words. The words must sound like they could be real. They must mean what they sound like they mean, on reflection. They cannot be derived from an existing comic property with a known owner. They go through the Comedy Panel for ratification. The panel votes. Once ratified, the word is permanent.
The words appear in games without explanation. This is intentional. A player who encounters misorientious for the first time will understand it from context. This is the mechanism.

* Misorientious was ratified unanimously. Nell confirmed the comma placement — she rarely confirms anything; the room noted it. Cubular's single abstention was Gerald Warmington (Nepal). Maladroitious: ratified 8–1; Archibald Odd abstained on grounds he himself is the third option. Gapple originated as a founder typo (intended: gaggle); Reginald Faults and Bob Bean opposed on procedural grounds; the founder's championship carried it. Archibald Odd considers this his finest hour, possibly excepting one other.
